HUOMO

Human by choice.

“Humans are not finished beings. We become what we make of ourselves.”

Giovanni Pico della Mirandola, 1486

We let them generate the answers. We let them predict the outcomes. And we gladly ask them to take the burden off us. It is incredibly tempting.

But a recommendation is not a choice.

We are building the most powerful tools in history. If we blindly delegate the final decision, we risk outsourcing something deeply human.

HUOMO was founded to draw a line.

Some things we simply keep for ourselves.

We believe in humans

But you cannot outsource character. Growth needs friction. We believe there is something irreplaceable in every human being.

Not because we are perfect. We change our minds, and we often get it wrong.

HUOMO grew out of years spent in rooms where everyone had the analysis, everyone had an opinion, and still nobody wanted to own the decision.

We refuse to make convenience our highest value. We must leave each other the space to choose, and the right to fail.

The real danger

The danger is not machines becoming more capable.

It is us getting used to handing over judgment without noticing.

What must we never hand over?

We do not have the complete answer. But we know where it starts.

It starts with one real decision. Someone looks at the options, takes a breath, and owns the outcome.

That is where we work.

Decide, or be decided.

The Decision-Action Sprint

One real decision. Made, carried out, on record.

10weeks
1team
1decision

This is for leadership teams of five to nine people.

You have the reports. You have the data. But if we are honest, the actual choice has not been made yet.

In this sprint, your team holds the pen.

The facilitator does not decide. The software does not decide.

We help you frame the real question and weigh what cannot simply be computed. Then you choose. You name an owner and a date. We stay with you through the messy reality of implementation.

A recommendation is not a decision.

You leave with
The choice made by your own team. The real work started. A clear record you can defend.
It is not
An assessment of people. We keep no scores. We make no rankings. We provide zero input for HR.

The research

What actually happens between “we should” and “we did”?

A decision leaves a trace.

We want to know if those traces reveal a team’s real capability to judge and act in the real world.

Human coders establish a reliable reference first. They work independently against fixed thresholds. A language model is then tested against their human coding. We never do it the other way around.

Only what proves reliable gets scaled.

How much do you still decide yourself?

A short instrument on judgment, delegation and follow-through. It is built on validated psychological scales and developed with our research partners.

It is not a score. It is a mirror.

Eight statements. One minute. Nothing stored.

The conversations

We ask four questions. We ask them in every interview, whether we are talking to a researcher, a CEO or a student.

We start wide and go deep. We have long conversations with people whose decisions carry weight.

The first are being recorded at the European Forum Alpbach in August 2026.
