Autonomy also means knowing what happens to your data. So here is the short version first: we do not follow you around.
What this website does not do
We use no advertising cookies, analytics, tracking pixels or visitor profiles. We do not sell personal data. The fonts used by this site are delivered with the website rather than requested from an external font service.
What happens when you visit
Like almost every website, our hosting provider needs technical information to send the page to your device and keep the service secure. This may include your IP address, browser type and the time of access. It is processed for secure website delivery on the basis of our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Technical records are retained only for as long as they are needed for operation and security.
If you write to us
When you send an email, we receive the address, message and information you choose to include. We use it to answer you and, where relevant, to discuss or prepare work with you. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual or contractual communication and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for other correspondence. Service providers involved in delivering email may process the message on our behalf. We keep correspondence only as long as the conversation, our legal obligations or a legitimate need requires.
The self-check
The self-check runs locally in your browser. Your answers are not sent to HUOMO, stored on a server or added to a profile. Close the page and the answers are gone. It is a mirror in development, not an individual assessment and not an HR instrument. We do not collect data from minors through it.
Your choice and your rights
You may ask what personal data we hold about you and request correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection where the GDPR provides these rights. Write to hello@huomo.org. You may also lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna.
